Simone Casadio

Simone Casadio joined Genesa (then known as Sirti Limited) in 1999 as Telecommunications Engineer and Cable Television Designer, after maturing valuable experience as IT contractor at Hewlett-Packard in Milan.

Simone quickly proved himself and became Technical Manager. As such he has played a key role in enabling the Company to diversify its business. Over the years he has project managed several telecommunication installation projects for carriers such as Telecom Italia and Bulldog Broadband, as well as provided design, technical support and consultancy services for CCTV and Access Control projects in the UK and overseas.

Tapping on his vast professional experience matured over the years, Simone has successfully trained many engineers on product installation, setup and maintenance and continues to provide pre- and post-sales support services for the Company’s security distribution business, ‘Team Genesa’.

Internally he has headed several IT projects and is now managing the Software Development business of the Company.

His qualifications include a Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Bologna (Italy), Cisco certifications (CCNA and CCNA Wireless) and numerous training accreditations from Security Product manufacturers such as Pelco, ACTi, MAXXESS, Remsdaq and Samsung Techwin.

Clive Clarke

Clive Clarke started his career working in the Professional Services Department of Royal Mail South East, where he quickly moved up the ladder from Buyer to Purchasing Manager and finally to Project Manager.

In 2003 he joined Genesa as Purchasing Supervisor. In such position Clive was in charge for all company procurements and price negotiation, but soon extended his responsibility to hire equipment, hired-in plant, buildings, facilities and company vehicles.

Subsequently Clive moved to a Project Management position and was put in charge of small to medium size CCTV projects in the UK. In such role he was responsible for the installation of poles, CCTV cameras, access control and wireless equipment, and dealt with every aspect of each project from quoting to logistics, from resource management to purchasing required materials, from supervising to reporting and dealing with customers.

More recently Clive is heavily involved in the development and management of new business streams of the company, namely ID badging (www.idbadging.co.uk) and security products distribution and support (www.teamgenesa.com). The positive logical thinking and problem solving attitude of Clive are crucial for the development of these e-commerce based business streams and to make sure that the best possible level of service is offered to the customers.

Amit Pawaskar

Educated to a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Amit Pawaskar is a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS). He has matured several years of experience in .NET technologies and is an avid follower of Microsoft Technology Trends.

After spending the early part of his career as Software programmer at Vibes Software in India, Amit joined Genesa in 2001 as Analyst/Software Engineer. Since then he is responsible for the entire life cycle of software design and development for Windows-based and web-based solutions and their applications (including e-commerce), with a particular eye for process automation and optimisation.

Using his vast IT skills, Amit has contributed to several projects for in-house use which have greatly streamlined some of the main business processes of the company. In particular he is fully responsible for the Web-based workflow order management application software of Genesa, its backend database and its e-business module, a highly effective solution that allows the company to manage its major contract efficiently.

With equal skills and professionalism Amit has been in charge of ad-hoc software development projects commissioned by external clients and fully managed the design, development and implementation of the project for The Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago.

Stephen Gibbons

Stephen Gibbons holds a BSc Hon degree in Computer Science and several relevant Microsoft and Cisco professional qualifications such as MCSA/MCSE/MCITP and CCNA. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers as well as of the British Computer Society.

After spending the early part of his career in a managerial position developing and refining his customer service skills, Stephen Gibbons moved into the technical world.

He joined Genesa in 2005 and since then he is in charge for the network implementation and support functions of the company. In particular Stephen is involved in the technical support for internal users at each company site and takes care of the systems management & data security of Genesa.

David Corrigan

David Corrigan has strengthened and refined his knowledge and skills as Contract Manager during over 20 years in the telecommunications industry. Before joining Genesa he worked for companies of different size and geographical spread covering managerial roles that dealt with different aspects of contract management.

Today he oversees the day to day running of the company’s contracts from order receipt through to planning and liaising with customers, to work monitoring and completion. He is directly involved in the running of the installation crews throughout the UK, making sure that the requirements of the customers are met within deadline and budget.

Leveraging on David’s skills, each contract needs to meet the company KPIs and SLAs, all targets have to be met and that the quality of the delivery has to meet – if not exceed – customers’ expectations.

Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) Officer

Paula Laurent

Paula Laurent has been involved in Health and Safety for most of her career, supporting companies mainly within Engineering, Utilities, Manufacturing and Installation backgrounds.

Supported by a wide spectrum of qualifications gained in specific aspects of Health and Safety, as SHEQ officer Paula has ensured that all risk assessments and audits are conducted and has directed and supported managerial staff in completing actions. She has also been involved in developing and implementing environmental strategies and action plans that ensure corporate sustainable development within various Companies.

Bearing in mind the importance of prevention, Paula has regularly organised and delivered in-house health, safety and environmental training as well as various other training focusing on issues such as plant & equipment awareness, COSHH, manual handling, working at height, asbestosis etc.

Paula has facilitated the sharing and better management of information in health and safety by implementing bi-monthly meetings which include field management, Directors and CEOs to share information regarding risks, accidents, audit results, training, budgets etc and to discuss the implementation of strategies based within the local law in order to keep the higher risks to a nil acceptance.
