British Security Industry Association
We are a full member of the BSIA and are represented on its CCTV and Access Control Committees and the Export Council.

The BSIA is the trade association for the professional security industry in the UK. Its members provide over 70% of UK security products and services including the manufacture, distribution and installation of electronic and physical security equipment and the provision of security guarding and consultancy services.

One of the BSIA's top priorities is the maintenance of high standards within the industry, and it places rigorous requirements on companies wishing to become members. The BSIA draws up industry codes of practice and technical documents, often then submitting documents for consideration as British Standards. BSIA representatives work on European standards committees to ensure these will meet the practical needs of the industry and its customers. Our own Technical Development Manager is a UK delegate on Working Group 7 working on the revision of EN50132-5.

The BSIA lobbies key organisations/bodies to form valuable working partnerships and achieve desirable changes such as Members of Parliament, the Home Office, Association of Chief Police Officers and the Association of British Insurers.

British Safety Council
We are a long-standing member of the BSC and have held their International Safety Award for eight consecutive years.
The BSC is one of the world's leading occupational health, safety and environmental organisations. Founded in 1957, it now has a substantial turnover.
Its mission is to support a healthier, safer and more sustainable society. The BSC works hand-in-hand with the world's leading companies, developing safe systems of work. Their specialist teams of lecturers, trainers, auditors, advisers and information providers give practical help to organisations in more than 50 countries worldwide.

BSC members come from a variety of sectors and include multi-nationals, blue chip organisations, SMEs and family businesses. Over 50% of its membership base is made up of SMEs.
